The reasoning is that MAYBE just maybe you will spare another girl from being approached by this person. You might make that guy think twice before bullying someone else... someone who might not have the strength to stand up for herself like you did.

I have had many encounters where I had to dig deep and put on my game face when confronted by people like this. I always felt like I was sticking up for more than just myself... and I drew strength from imagining the potential scenarios of other girls. Embrace your warrior. Part of promoting peace is rising up to snuff out hostility. elena dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08626061833267504950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6603292850497407498.post-75767139742048571972014-03-13T16:11:47.642-04:002014-03-13T16:11:47.642-04:00Kelsey, is that you!? Tara just looked at me, I looked at her, and then I politely said, "Excuse me, the line ends back there." Those two smug jerks laughed at me...laughed at me!!! No more nice Kelsey...I promptly questioned them loudly asking if it made them feel like big men to jump line in front of two teenage girls before I promptly told them to get outta line! They were mortified!!! They promptly apologized and went to the back of the line. Sometimes, when people ignore the kitten's purr, it's time to bust out the lion's roar! Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
